Our captivating venue lies opposite the El Meco archaeological site, adding to its mystique. In ancient times, newly-wed Mayan rulers and their consorts would set sail from this beach bound for the Temple of Ixchel, the fertility goddess, on nearby Isla Mujeres.

A wooden staircase leads down on to the powder-white sand beach where you are literally following in the footsteps of long-lost lords and ladies.
