Located in northern Cancun on the Mujeres Bay, Ocean Events offers you a beautiful and secluded garden by the beach – a wooden staircase leads down on to the white sand where you are following the footsteps of the ancient Mayas; the El Meco archaeological site lies at some steps of our place; it played an important part in the communication with Isla Mujeres: the Island is the Island of Ixchel, the goddess of the moon, of the fertility too, spouse of the Sun, and the newly-led Mayas sailed from this beach to the Temple of Ixchel, for a rite to the goddess to have children (Mayans continue the tradition).
